We're investigators, not sourcing agents.
Procubility is an independent forensic audit firm based in Shenzhen. We work for one party only — the importer. We do not earn commission from any Chinese factory, we do not list "preferred" suppliers, and we do not collect kick-backs on your purchase orders. Our entire job is to find what's wrong before your money leaves the bank.
Why we exist
Most foreign buyers lose money in China not because the country is dangerous — but because they're working with the wrong type of partner. A "sourcing agent" earns more when you spend more. A trading company hides who actually makes your product. A desk-based audit firm photocopies certificates and calls it verification.
We were built to solve a single problem: give the importer eyes and ears inside the Chinese factory before they wire a deposit, sign tooling, or ship a container. Everything we do flows from that — and from the discipline that we are paid only by you.
How we operate
Four operating principles. Non-negotiable.
Independence by design
We are paid only by buyers — never by Chinese factories, trading companies or agents. No commission. No referral fee. No supplier kick-back. The factory we audit has nothing to gain from us approving them, which is exactly why our audits are forensic instead of cosmetic.
On the ground in Shenzhen
Our auditors are physically based in Futian District and mobilise across the Pearl River Delta within 72 hours. We walk the factory floor, count the workforce, photograph the machinery, and pull the lab samples ourselves. We do not subcontract our investigations.
Evidence, not opinion
Every report is geotagged, time-stamped and citeable. Machinery serial numbers, payroll extracts, sub-tier disclosure, lab-verified material certificates. Defensible to your bank, your insurer and your regulator — not just a PDF you file and forget.
Built around the risks that bankrupt importers
