A third party inspection service in China is an independent quality inspection carried out by a company that is neither the buyer nor the supplier. An inspector attends the Chinese factory, samples the goods to an agreed AQL plan, checks dimensions, function, cosmetics, labelling and packaging against your specification, and issues a pass or fail verdict supported by photo and video evidence.
Third party inspection covers four standard inspection types: pre-shipment inspection (PSI), during-production inspection (DUPRO), container loading supervision and initial production checks, plus coordination of accredited lab testing. Procubility is paid only by the buyer and takes no factory commission, which is what makes the inspection finding independent.

What is a third party inspection service in China?
It is an independent quality inspection performed at the Chinese factory by an inspector who works for the buyer, not the supplier. The inspector samples the goods to an agreed AQL level, checks them against your specification, and issues an evidence-backed pass or fail verdict before the shipment leaves China.
How much does third party inspection in China cost?
Most inspections are priced per man-day. The cost depends on the factory location, the order size and the AQL level. Send the product, quantity and factory city and you receive a fixed quote before anything is booked.
How fast can you inspect goods in China?
An inspector is typically on site within 48 hours of booking in the Pearl River Delta, and the full report with geotagged photos and video arrives within 24 hours of the inspection.
What is the difference between pre-shipment inspection and during-production inspection?
Pre-shipment inspection (PSI) happens when production is at least 80 percent complete and packed, and decides whether the shipment goes out. During-production inspection (DUPRO) happens mid-run so that drift and defects are caught while the line can still be corrected.
Which AQL level should I use?
AQL 2.5 for major defects and 4.0 for minor defects is the common commercial default. Safety-critical or high-value goods usually use AQL 1.5 or 0.65. We agree the defect classification with you in writing before the inspection.
Do you inspect outside Guangdong?
Yes. Inspectors cover the main manufacturing clusters in Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Fujian and Shandong, with travel time priced transparently for remote sites.
Are you independent from the factory?
Yes. Procubility is buyer-paid only and accepts no supplier commissions or referral fees, so there is no commercial incentive to pass marginal goods.
What happens if the inspection fails?
You are told live, while the inspector is still on site and before the balance payment is released. The report documents the defects with evidence so you can require rework, re-inspection, a discount, or refuse the shipment.
Can you supervise container loading?
Yes. Loading supervision verifies quantity, carton and pallet condition, loading pattern and seal number, with photo evidence that the goods loaded are the goods you ordered.
Do you arrange lab testing as well?
We coordinate testing with ILAC-accredited laboratories for REACH, RoHS, CE, FCC, FDA and CPSIA requirements, and analyse the root cause when a result comes back failing.
