Why this exists
The supplier had an Alibaba Gold badge. A glossy factory video. ISO certificates on the wall. The deposit got wired. The order shipped late, off-spec, or never at all.
Many buyers discover problems only after an order is already in production because a company check and a factory audit answer different questions. A documentary verification establishes identity; an on-site audit examines the systems and evidence visible at the production site.
A Procubility factory audit is an evidence-based, buyer-paid assessment. The agreed scope states which records, production areas and evidence points are examined, and where independent laboratory testing or another specialist service is required.
Audit architecture
Most audits inspect quality and stop there. Ours covers the full risk surface a Chinese supplier brings to a Western brand.
Execution flow
Day 0–1. Public-record screening, ownership map, prior-shipment data and red-flag scoring before we mobilise.
Day 1–2. Licences, certifications, payroll, permits, drawings and SOPs collected and pre-validated against public registers.
Day 3–4. Auditor deployed from our Shenzhen office. 60+ point evidence collection across the five dimensions.
Where included and permitted, interviews with responsible staff help compare documented procedures with observed practice.
Day 5. Executive risk score (red / amber / green), evidence-based dossier with geotagged photos, video and document annexes.
